Estilo Y Gracia was created to honor the deep traditions of Cuban music while bringing a fresh voice shaped by the diverse and vibrant musical landscape of Los Angeles. Led by percussionist Jose Miguel Perez, the ensemble blends the rhythmic foundation of Afro-Cuban music with the improvisational spirit of jazz, creating performances that are both rooted in history and alive with possibility.
Drawing inspiration from the masters who shaped Cuban music while embracing the creativity of today, Estilo Y Gracia performs original compositions and reimagined classics that celebrate rhythm, melody, and the joy of collective improvisation.
